Who's behind this project ? It's Olivier (me) ! Student in graphic and web design, I hope some day make my passion a job... But when I'm not in front of my PC, on Photoshop or looking for inspiration around me, I do my other passion : music ! As a musician (I've been playing guitar for some years now and I try a bit bass and drums), to just listen or to compose, it's always the same pleasure ! That's why I recorded some compositions I made... I took my guitar (or my bass or drums, it depends), my computeur and my patience and I recorded some compos, experimenting effects, mixs,... The result is far not perfect, I know it well, but maybe is it more natural like so ? Wait and see...

So why "Digital Ceremonial" ? Honestly there's no reason or signification, it came like that, as for my songs... Because they're all almost exclusively instrumentals, a signification will only come if you let your imagination speaks ! 'Cause here's my philosophy of music : A music must exist by itself, it have to tell a story, but the story that the listener imagines, the one he likes...

Some people love to class artists' style in different music genders. If you're like that, you may want to know what's Digital Ceremonial's style... Well it's quite impossible to answer this question. Personally, I like to say that I do Alternative music, but some people has described my music as "Slow Psyché", "Ambient", "Electro", "Progressive", "Experimental" or even "Rock"...

The best thing to do is to make your own opinion... Launch the player at the bottom right !

Nephilim is the name of a short film that I'll be making in the coming 2 years. It's my graduation work for my visual fx compositing studies. It will also be the chance for me to compose an original score. Many many fun in perspective !

Because it's a score, the style of the music will be a bit different than what I usually do, but I'll use the same workflow, and the same approach, letting feelings and imagination take over.
